My name is Rene Pinero I'm 18 years old and this is how Subarus became my passion. This car was originally my older brother's car back then, I had a VW GTI MK5 which I ended up selling, and decided to buy the Subaru off my brother. From the moment I made the purchase of the car my passion for Subies bloomed. I completely fell in love with the platform and I was just finishing up school at the time studying automotive engineering. My passion for cars was always there, It started with The GTI and then eventually moved on to the WRX. The aesthetic look of the car was just so satisfying to me and I decided to add on to it. That's where the build started and it came together little by little with me and my older brother. We built this car from the ground up at our house with some tools, a jack, and some jack stands. Eventually, with time the car has made it a long way and has impressed us in performance but most importantly reliability. This car drove my passion to becoming a tech and with experience and time become a Subaru specialist. I've started to work at a shop in Tampa named LA repair and I've been developing my skills there. So one day I can open up my own Subaru shop. My friends and family have supported my passion every single day and have helped me learn. This led to me creating a small group that goes by the name of StuckNParadise Where we try to help friends and each other build cars but at the same time have a good time doing so.
