Little background for me and my passion,
Ive been a subaru fan since I could drive(which was 2004 btw.) Can still remember days walking around the Subaru dealership in Tustin, CA, eyeballing a brand new 2005 STI. Of course I couldnt afford it, but damn I wanted one.
Fast forward 20 years.
This is now my 4th Subaru. Currently have a '07 STI sitting in the driveway alongside my '23. My last STI that was traded in for my '23 was a '16 VA STI. That car was pretty done up, but it was time for some new new!
Here we land on my VB. This car is all my own blood and tears. Everything I can do myself I will and do. From the wrap, to skinning my intake box and snorkel. Wrapping the interior in ultra suede, all the engine work, all the suspension. Every bit of it has been done by me. All of which being funded myself as well. No sponsor, no free parts, no real discounts. Sorry no, one free part, my rain gaurds were given to me by EOS visors. Otherwise just hard work day in and day out. Sometimes Im sure I like this car more than my children. Kidding, mostly.
