Car Description:
I bought the car new in 2017, have always enjoyed being a part of the BRZ/86 community. I use the car as my daily and road trip vehicle. All the modifications I have done have been to enhance the driving experience without drawing too much attention. At first glance it appears like a mostly stock performance pack BRZ. It is not perfect, but it works and I think it looks good.
But under the surface almost everything has been touched and or tweaked. Tons of long trips on the odometer, most recently I drove it up to New Jersey where my best friend and I took it apart and installed years worth of parts I had been saving in the garage.
New Mods include:
Full 3" Perrin exhaust, 3" JDL overpipe and front-pipe, a JDL turbo kit with a Garrett gt2860r @10ilbs of boost, antigravity battery, Perrin Oil Cooler, Delicious tuning Air Oil Separator, Killer Bee Oil Pickup, STI motor mounts, DEI turbo blanket, Stronger Oil Pan, mishimoto aluminum radiator JDL intercooler (coated black so it is lowkey), new innovate boost/wideband gauge, Custom EcuTek tune.
I already had my stereo built in a similar OEM+ fashion, stock head unit to custom crossovers and 1kw four channel amp for the front and door speakers, and a tucked 2kw amp for the fiberglass subwoofer in the trunk. The cabin has been fully redone with JDM interior pieces (like came on stock the USDM TS version of the same year)
It sounds and drives amazing, cruising on the highway or blasting through the mountain passes. Enjoying the custom sound system or turn it down and enjoy the UEL rumble from the JDL Manifold.
I added a bunch of pics of the car from over the years, the one called CompactCar.jpg is one of the most recent and shows the car in it's current condition, it is not a perfect show car by any means, but it represents a perfect slice of car culture to me.
