Proudest thing about this car is the process of researching and putting this car together in my garage. Minus painting the body kit (Thanks C&R Body Shop in El Monte), using up the free dealer oil changes (RIP Galpin Subaru), having my AC fixed (thanks Mary at Subi Specialties!), and having my tires put on my wheels (Thanks to all the various tire shops I've encountered), I can say that every other mod was done on my own by learning from the awesome subie community and concoting crazy ways to make parts that aren't available the way I wanted or parts that weren't really made for each other. Not that my work is perfect, but there's a beauty that a total novice like myself can feel empowered to take the plunge and get my hands dirty to build a Subaru I can call my own. Love. It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.
