1993 Subaru SVX LS-L 25th Anniversary Edition
Number #168 of 301
I call her Pandora.
Purchased in 2000 and daily driven until 2017. Garage queen now (she earned it).
Vehicle Restoration work:
Engine: Built EG33 with forged CP Pistons and Eagle H rods and 3-angle valve work. Machine work and balancing: Duffin Engines
Intake/Plenum Port and Polish: GrimmSpeed
Injectors: Matched Subaru STI injectors
Engine Paint: OEM Barcelona Red with KBS Coatings Paint and Diamond Clear
Engine Bay: Pablo’s Paint & Body
Engine management system: Hydra Nemesis 2.7 (uses GM IAT)
Transmission: Swapped OEM 4EAT to 2005 Subaru STI 6MT, Added clutch master cylinder to firewall and re-wired transmission to communicate with engine ECU.
Rear Differential: Converted from R160 to R180
Exterior: Painted and vinyl wrapped in Avery Dennison Carmine Red. Work done by: Concours Auto Salon and VinylTy
Bumper: Limited Edition Japanese Delta Speed 21st Anniversary Speed bumper (1 of 21)
Headlights: OEM German-only glass headlights
Sidelights: OEM Japan-only corner headlights.
Wheels: 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Interior: Custom interior for an OEM appearance with subtle changes (embroidered logo in seats). Upholsterer: Jerry’s Custom Upholstery
Future plans: forced induction. :)
