Originally a 1400 wet sleeve, 4speed trans. Currently 1800 EA81S dual carb with EA82 5speed trans... Easier said than done. Some other cool goodies like Japanese market optional steering wheel. Enkei compe-8 13x5.5 in the factory 4x140 bolt pattern. Vintage new-old-stock PlastiColor mats. Rear disc brakes from a 3rd gen GL. Parts for this car are not what you'd call plentiful and in large part a waiting game for stuff to come up for sale.
Everything on the car you see I have done myself... Which explains a lot.
This car had a dealer installed vinyl top. I replaced it anticipating having my windshield (which is stuck in NJ, currently) so the vinyl isn't tucked under the seal. It's tacky but will look great once new gasket and glass make it in.
The ugly 1/4 panels were a means to an end. The right side was damaged at some point, presumably, long ago and this was someone's solution for paint. I tried to make them look a little better, and I believe I did.
Featured on "Steve's POV" YouTube channel. The car has come a long way since then. Hope to have it wrapped by the show but we'll see how much time I end up having.
