FAQ
Does my car need to be fast?
No! It just needs to be safe and a Subaru. First timers welcome!
How many runs will I get?
Due to the inherent nature of motorsport, we can not guarantee a number of runs. The drag strip will be open for 6 hours and you can run as much or as little during that time.
I don't know how fast my car is! How do I know what safety equipment I need?
Track staff will ask you to make a best guess and require safety equipment based on that guess. If you run faster than that, you will be required to meet those safety requirements or will no longer be allowed to run. Note - all drivers are required to wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and a helmet meeting SNELL 2020 specs.
Can I line up against my homie?
No promises! Staging lanes will be run in paired order and cars will be required to run in the order they show up at the line. You will be sent to the back of the line if you skip your run or jump out of line.
Can I enter the T&T if I'm also in the car show or vendor booth?
No - vehicles in the car show or vendor booth must stay parked for the duration of the event.
Fuel / Oil / Supplies available onsite?
Nothing official through Subiefest! Please bring everything you think you'll need for the day!
Do I have to tune my car?
No - that's just what this kind of event is called. I didn't invent it. You can change a different part on your car after every run, or you can do nothing at all and keep running. I don't care. Just don't oil down the track.
Can I have a passenger?
No - only the registered driver may be in the vehicle going down the track.
Can I bet the guy in the other lane cash money on the race?
Illegal gambling is strictly prohibited and you will be asked to leave the property when caught.
What's the grand prize?
It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile..winning's winning.. But this is still a Test & Tune.
Will there be space for my trailer or support vehicle in the pits?
Yes, however pit space is a shared resource so you'll have other racers in close proximity. Every person coming into the event needs a ticket, regardless of how many vehicles you're entering. Subiefest is not responsible for lost or stolen items - please secure your valuables.
It might rain! Or be cold! Or hot!
Subiefest is rain or shine!
